About the Pageant
The Baker County Fair Association is proud to host the Baker County Fair Pageant at this year’s Baker County Fair. The pageant will be held on September 30, 2023 at 3:00pm at the Multi-Purpose Bldg, Baker County Fairgrounds. The rehearsal will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, 6:30pm.
Age Groups
The pageant has five age groups:
Miss Baker County Fair Queen (16-19)
Miss Teen Baker County Fair (13-15)
Miss Junior Baker County Fair (10-12)
Little Miss Baker County Fair (7-9)
Baker County Fair Princess (4-6)
Judging Criteria
Applicants will be judged on Evening Gown stage appearance in all categories. Queen division contestants will have an interview prior to the pageant. Judges will be out-of-town judges with no relations to the contestants. Each age category will also award “Prettiest Smile” and “Best Dress”, winners will receive rosette ribbons. Age groups may be combined if less than 4 contestants per age group at pageant director’s discretion. Judges decisions are final.
Prizes
Winner in each category will receive a crown, sash and flowers, and the winner in the Queen category will also receive $100 cash.
A winner and 1st runner-up will be announced in each category provided there are enough participants.
Requirements
To enter, contestants must fill out the application form and turn in, along with entry fee, by the due date. All applications and entry fees must be received by the Baker County Fair Association no later than Thursday, September 21, 2023. Contestants must reside in Baker County. Each contestant will be allowed 1 backstage pass.
The Fair Queen will be required to assist with various activities throughout the week, including livestock shows. The Teen Queen may also be asked to assist in fair activities.
Fees
The pageant cost is $50 (includes Prettiest Smile and Best Dress). Admission Fee is $5 – Children 5 and under are free.
